Frank Thomas

Frank Thomas is a MLB Hall of Famer, appearing as a first-ballot nominee. He is from Columbus, Georgia, where he was raised. Thomas would attend Auburn University after three years and a successful rewrite of most the records of Auburn baseball being associated with his name. He would be selected in the 1989 MLB draft by the Chicago White Sox, the 7th pick of the first round. He is widely regarded as one of baseball’s most feared and notorious batters of all time. Thomas played a full 19 seasons in the MLB, earning the nickname “The Big Hurt” after a star-studded career (Frank Thomas).
